WARNING: This contains my opinions, it can definitely be different for others, if you are considering using ANY of what I use, it's best to look up tutorial videos for them. Have a nice day!

Paint.net
(Free)

This is my "Photoshop"

Would recommend? If you don't mind that it's quite simple, it's really nice! :]
Wouldn't hurt to try it either, it's free!

The good side? Simple, good, and can be effective if you know how to use it!

The bad side? For what it is, it may be outdated for some people and not for everyone but hey, it's an entirely free software!

Here's a video tutorial to give you a good idea about it:

Medibang Paint
(Free, has subscriptions)

This is what I use for my drawings!

Would recommend? Yeah :D it may be not perfect but it's simple, effective and really good in my opinion, I really love using it and it helps me a lot. You can make INCREDIBLE artworks there!

The good side? The software is really well done in general, and it's what you expect, a simple painting and it's really good, there's a paid subscriptions for a lot of brushes in the store but you can always just make your own brushes, and there's a lot of alternative good brushes already,

Overall, a really solid software :D

The bad side? I don't have criticism for Medibang, I simply use it and I enjoy using it :D

Here's a video tutorial to give you a good idea about how it looks like when using it!

(Also, you can make incredibly amazing artworks if you learn about it, there's a lot of speedpaints about it!)

GDevelop (Free, has subscriptions)

This is what I use to make 3D games! (Might move to my mainly used engine)

This is the game engine I am currently trying to learn other than Clickteam Fusion, I must say it's not groundbreaking but it's REALLY good

Would recommend? Yeah! For what it is, it's a REALLY good engine, it's 2D AND 3D?!? I love this engine, its prices are also really good for what it is!

The good side? Almost everything about the software, in my opinion, is really good! It's simple, fast, free and no-code (you can add code if you need or want to at some point, but it's not a necessity here!)

The bad side? Honestly? I don't have a lot of criticism for GDevelop, my only complaint was that it doesn't have a 3D viewport when you are making a 3D game, but that's just my opinion, it's REALLY good for what it is :D

Here's a tutorial to give you a good idea about it:

Clickteam Fusion 2.5 (Paid)

This is my mainly used game engine.

A lot of my games has been made in Clickteam Fusion 2.5, primarily the 2D ones and the FNaF Re-Take is being made on it too

Would recommend? Depends on what you're looking for, if you're looking for an easy to use engine  primarily for 2D games with no subscriptions, and won't mind that it isn't made for 3D, then I'd say go for it, you can make incredibly beautiful 2D games in there!

If you ever try to make a 3D game in Clickteam, it's gonna be very difficult to learn and it would look outdated at some point, but to their credit it's possible, through a paid extension that's $79.99 USD, FireFly, or free 3D OpenGL extensions, but I heavily recommend you just use another 3D engine if you want to do 3D, it's much easier and the results are prettier

But you can make REALLY good games with this engine if you know what you're doing!

The good side? Easy for beginners, it's simple, no-code needed (You can code, but it's not a necessity), somewhat even simpler than Scratch, and if you know what you're doing you could make incredible 2D games :D

The bad side? In my opinion Clickteam's prices for their DLCs and extensions are ridiculous, as far as I am writing this some things and primarily their 3D stuff are outdated, I forgive the price for the main software itself but its paid extensions and DLCs are just... not exactly the best, I tried it for myself, it's not for everyone to say the least :(

Here's a tutorial video to give you a good idea about it:

Cinema 4D (Paid)

My 3D stuff are primarily using this software, it's a paid software but if you're looking for something free, Blender is always there

The good side? Simple and really cool :D

The bad side? I don't have much criticism for Cinema 4D honestly, it's good for what it is, if the fact it's paid isn't something you like, you can always just use Blender, it's a really good and free alternative!

And that's about it! :D
